My Personal Perspective

Summary: The revelation I’m sharing comes from articles, books and quotes, which I have read and which helped me to form my own perspectives.  I had to go back to my prior religious teachings that I received from reading the Bible, before I began reading the Holy Quran. I remember always hearing the pastor say. “Go BOLDLY to the throne of God and ASK for what I wanted.  However, as my spiritual journey of fifty-five-plus years, continued and my consciousness elevated.  I was attracted to the eastern philosophy “I AM God, for I was created in the image.” To no longer ask, but demand what it is that I already decided was mine and how I was going to accomplish getting it. This seemed more in line with what the Divine Creator’s formula of manifestation would have been for its creation to obtain all that they desired. I just had to give notice to the Divine Universe/ God/ Allah and know it would be unconditionally set in place in order for me to enact and accomplish my sincere intentions.

Believe, Demand & Act, With Urgency

When a sense of urgency is needed, don’t give way to the lure of desperation.

Are you stuck with busyness, not really knowing where you’re going or why you’re on this path? Is time your friend, or does it make you feel like a failure, not having completed your intended task? You have fallen into a dark and vast sink hole that you cannot escape; you are becoming anxious, desperate your stomach in knots and having no control over what comes next.

Desperation, is not always a negative emotion, it can spur you into taking massive action. However, desperation is defined as “A state of despair that results in rash and extreme behavior, without critically thinking through the direction one would take and when thought out logically to reach one’s goals. Desperation, is not an attribute which should be possessed by a leader.” As they say “Never Let Them See You Sweat.”  The results of your work will be shown and proved through your focused and determined dedication.

“Having A Sense of Urgency, by definition requires swift action and, is said to have three stages, as explained by Professor Kotter, of Trinity Logistics. “The first stage is a feeling of complacency, contentment, or self-satisfaction; staying the same and seeing no need or urgency to change.’’

“The Second Stage of Urgency, is a flurry of energy and activity built out of failure, and the failures result from complacency, leading management to put intense pressure and time limits on the team, to perform exceedingly well and unrealistically fast. Someone in this stage is frantic, stressed, anxious, frustrated and exhausted.”

“The Third & Ideal Stage of Urgency,” exist in having a staunch belief that the world is filled with opportunity and challenges, therefore, in order to arrive at success, sheer determination and focus are the wheels that will keep turning and moving forward, toward a win it now scenario.  “We hear it all the time: Attitude, feelings and actions are contagious.”  When your recipe contains the right mental and emotional ingredients; these are who will either already possess or adopt these type personalities and emulate them.  “The one thing that you can do to start this ripple effect, of urgency is to act with urgency every day.” Who you are grows and from it expands your success.
